I thought I should take some time today Friday, a weekend in Dubai and share some information about where to buy ukulele in Dubai or where to buy musical instruments in Dubai. Last week my daughters’ teacher told them to get a ukulele for their music class and I don’t know where to get them at all! Like many of us will do, I asked google and there’s not much of specific information I can find except that one forum and some online websites.
I did my own research and found out that there is a street called Omar bin al Khattab street where most of the music shops are located so you have many choices to visit and not just stuck in one store with a freaking expensive price hehe. CLICK ME for the google map. Also, You can find some stalls or Kiosk or booth that sells ukulele in some shopping malls like Dubai festival city, Dubai mall, IBN Battuta Mall, Souk Madinat etc.
The street is very near and walking distance to Union Metro Station. There you will find around 5+ musical instrument shops to choose from and sure you won’t regret going this street. I’ll suggest you go and visit Sadek music center the staff there are very friendly and accommodating and will look after to what exactly what you need in budget-friendly prices available. I went there to buy my daughters mahalo ukulele worth 100aed! The guys there will set up your instrument like what they did to my daughter ukulele and tuned it to be ready.
All in all i’m very happy with my purchase. The ukulele itself looks very expensive and you even know that it is only 100aed by the look of it, as it looks like a expensive one.
