Hello! Another blog for this week! Just wanted to update you guys on what’s happening in my life and on my new Youtube Video update which I post every tuesday! So please don’t forget to LIKE and subscribe for more =) This blog is about my Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival Event at Sungei wang Plaza.
Basically I’ve been busy which means that I’m out and about enjoying the outdoors of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia since my friend from Dubai, UAE came to visit me before she heads back home to the Philippines. We started her first day just chilling at home and catching up some sleep, because jetlag exist haha Malaysia is only 4hours ahead of Dubai, but maybe because like me, we lived there for so many years our body is already used to the timeline there and so even the shortest time difference can give us that jet lag feeling hehe Believe me! We’ve been here in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for almost 2-3months now and somehow still feeling that we are awake at night time because our body is still in Dubai Time.
After a day of chilling, we went out and started walking to Bukit Bintang, Showed her the Fountain at Pavillion Mall, walked around the malls and headed to Sungei Wang Plaza where my Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival event. But before that, we had to do a stop-over to Mr. Bond Salon had my friend’s hair cut and fixed and they did it really well! I recommend you to visit them. Everyone there is also very friendly which I really like! Nothing like real customer service.
Then off we went to my event, there were so many people as you can see in my youtube vlog below. They gave away goody bags to the public as well with some snacks, mooncakes and of course lanterns for the biggest lantern festival and dragon dance parade! Sad that I didn’t have time to join the Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival parade but I’m sure it was epic! I’m very glad to see so many people actually came, showed up and participated in this event.
After spending some time at the event, taking photos and videos for content as well, my friend and I walked to changkat bukit bintang. My husband is waiting for us for dinner and some drinks. I love how nightlife in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia is very chill, doesn’t require or force you to dressup and just come and accept who you are. If you’ve been to Dubai, You’ll understand what I mean. I do miss Dubai in a way that my friends are there and I am doing what I really love there all my life, which is modelling and walking the runway. Still feeling sad not being able to do that here in Malaysia and to be honest, I don’t think I will anymore. Modelling here is just way different. Like there’s no chance and a very tight community to break into, People are nice but still different.
The next day we attended Cartier Panthere Pop-up and we are scheduled at 10:30am. So then we were finished early, so we decided to take a grab car head to Lalaport Mall to check out Teamlab Microcosm installations. It was beautiful and nobody was there! No requirements and no long queue in the day, but at night time you need to get a ticket and wait in line for your turn. So even though night time is beautiful as the microcosm installation of teamlab lights up, I do prefer the daytime shots as always. Watch my Youtube VLOG below to check out more information as well.
