From the list you’ve posted above, I’ve known most of the dishes but my favorite would be the ginataang monggo and maja blanca.. Yum! 😀
In the place where I grew up (Bicol), we use coconut milk in almost all of our dishes hehehe..
This is a good list. I simply cook it with malungay leaves, put turmeric and lots of labuyo.

Yung ginataang Maja Blanca ang hindi ko na lang natikman. You should have added ginataang kanin. Wow! ang sarap nyun.
Wow! I didn’t know that you can use coconut milk withMaja Blanca. I only use it for curry dishes ; p

Your post is making me hungry. I have to say my favorite is manok with gata. My lola used to cook that for me but she passed away already and I have not found a single soul who can cook it the way she did it for me. 🙁
mahilig din akong magluto ng may coconut milk, my favorite to cook is ginataang monggo. I am now experimenting other recipes na may gata, and this post help me list down some of them.

We certainly have a fondness for coconut milk! I personally really like food with gata. It just makes everything so much richer and flavorful. I think it’s an ingredient that ties our cooking to our Asian roots 🙂

Coconut is a very healthy ingredient to food and it also adds its own flavor when it comes to food and is flexible enough to be part of the main course or dessert.
