Women’s Cuffs List Of Terms And Styles
Roll-up
Usually a straight sleeve which is folded up to form a cuff.
Knit
Rib knitted fabric which fits closely but is stretchy enough to slip over the hand.
Band
Has no vertical opening. It slips on over the hand.
Barrel
A band of fabric stitched to the sleeve. Usually closed with one or two buttons. (Also called single cuff.)
French
Wide cuff which turns back and is fastened with a cuff link through all layers.
Gauntlet
A wide turned-back cuff that flares wide at the arm and tapers toward the wrist.
(Also called cavalier cuff.)

I didn’t know that there’s some many kinds of cuffs. Basta fold lang ako ng fold kung anong lumabas, yun na! hehehe
I usually don’t notice the differences of those cuffs. haha. Maybe because, upon seeing a blouse with cuff, I ignore it. I don’t have a single blouse with cuff. :p

I’m a big fan of tops with cuffs especially those with gauntlets! 🙂
The best cuff is always the one on a custom-made shirt 🙂 It will have one button, but one wrist is wider than the other. I like details like those.
I just knew today that it’s called garment cuff! hahaha! 😉
