A country I’ve never been to before. I never thought that I’ll be this close to knowing more about this beautiful country. I guess life finds its way. Bring me to more than I could ask for. The country is called Kazakhstan located in Central Asia. The 9th largest country in the world. The largest landlocked country in the world too! Interesting isn’t it?

I am honored and grateful to be personally invited to attend an intimate Welcome Dinner hosted by the Embassy of The Republic of Kazakhstan. I am very excited to know about this country. I’ve been researching things about them to add some knowledge of my own. Please take note that, This is not the first time I’ve been or got invited to a country’s embassy and for that I am thankful to everyone who gave me a chance to promote their beautiful country, rich culture and cuisine.

When I was in Dubai, I was a full time blogger for the Italian Embassy. I’ve attended all of their events from food, fashion, travels and been invited to attend all of their fine dining lunches and dinners together with the rest of the Italians knowing that I am the only Filipino there and my friend as my +1 of course. Definitely something I’m missing the most often since I moved back here in Malaysia. I’ve also worked with Emirates + China Tourism in Yinchuan, Ningxia and traveled for a fam trip as one of the Bloggers to promote the new emirates direct flight from Yinchuan to Dubai. So many memories! There’s a lot more of course! But that’s for next time.

Moving on… The Welcome Dinner reception was amazing. It was nice to meet everyone there. Such a warm welcome and friendly people. From Magazine Editors, Content Creators, Influencers, Bloggers and more! We enjoyed some cultural entertainment and tried out their cuisine, the food of the night which is boiled Horse Meat with noodles and rich onion sauce. The Umami taste is just wow! It’s called “beshbarmak” which means five fingers because we are supposed to eat the food using our hands or five fingers. We had some Arabic food as well of course! I wish I could eat more that night haha

Airasia gave away a flight ticket for 2 people that night! I didn’t win but hopefully I’ll make it to explore Kazakhstan in 2024! Their beautiful landscapes are just beautiful! So many things to see! You can go now as Airasia has a direct flight from Kuala Lumpur to Almaty Kazakhstan! Guess It’s time to travel folks! Who’s coming with me?
