Another fashion show! I felt like it has been so long since I attended one because of covid. I’ve been watching shows over instagram live and facebook live and it is nice to see the creative side are not going anywhere but also I like sitting on the frontrow and see and watch the designers collection right infront of me, like I can almost touch it so near yet so far moment but I love to see the texture, like I can even smell it haha I’m sure you won’t understand if you don’t like fashion or do not get the idea or runway shows, but this runway shows are just amazing and exciting for me.
So I attended the International Fashion week Dubai 2020 located at Sofitel the Palm. This is place is definitely so far from where I live, Will cost me 100aed if I take uber just going there! 2-way will be 200aed at least but lucky for my friend and I, we are having a brunch/dinner at Argentina Grill at the Pointe that same night and just very near to sofitel the palm to attend the fashion show, but that post will be next after this so please stay tuned!
I’ve never attended a fashion show in Dubai that started on time haha Even my previous experiences with International Fashion Week Dubai was always late so to my surprised we arrived around 8pm at the show and it was already the last 2 shows. Well, I already expected that they are starting on time for this season as I am not expecting that there’s a lot of people who will be attending as the event need to do social distancing. The chairs were all social distancing as well and the rest of the people except the media/photographers haha but I do understand.
The last two shows we saw was the unveiling of the Guiness Book World record for the most expensive jacket with all the diamonds in it by the designer @mozafarian jewellers and then the models walking the runway wearing their other jewelleries of course! =) Congratulations International Fashion Week Dubai for yet another successful shows =)
We arrived home by 10pm I guess and I’ve never been early going home after a fashion show haha Guess that is the new normal and somehow love it as I can sleep peacefully after. When is the next event or Fashion show?
