Dubai, March 31, 2022: Who doesn’t want to become a good cook and prepare the choicest food at one’s own will and pleasure? When it comes to ethnic Indian food, variety is certainly the spice of life.

Before one heads home for summer vacation or while observing fasting during the Holy Month of Ramadan, ensure you have the best-cooked food at the dinner table. A much-needed opportunity to cook plenty of good food has been provided by an Indian expat woman by publishing a cookbook and releasing it in Dubai.

Lubna’s Kitchen–Ghar Ki Handi, a satisfactory collection of time-tested delicious Indian recipes and step-by-step explanations of their easy cooking methods has been released at a formal ceremony by prominent Indian expat lawyer, Anjana Bhatia.

The 50-recipes book by Dubai-based Lubna Mohsin offers the Ghar ki Handi concept of simple finger-licking dishes. “For food lovers, India is nothing short of being a culinary heaven with a whole kaleidoscope of flavours to discover.”

Lubna, in between raising her four children and dealing with an abusive marriage of 18 years, honed her cooking skills and had a tryst with taste in her drive to become an independent living housewife. “I derive my strength from my undiminished passion for good food,” says the first-time author who also indulges in by-order contract cooking.

Her 50-page book offers simple homemade food recipes including yummy starters, soups, main course dishes and heart-melting desserts. Hailing from a family of perfumers and philanthropists in North India, Lubna, when not cooking, has been dabbling in painting and gardening and spending time with pets.
