Filia Dubai SLS Hotel Lunch with a view! — Hey! Happy June! Just realized today June 02 that it’s already The month of June! We are halfway 2021 and I hope we are all getting there and fighting covid and working on getting back to normal again without the need of wearing face masks and please no more war.
Moving on, Yesterday June 01 my friend and I visited Filia Dubai. One of the most instagrammable places in Dubai right now as they just opened recently and all I can say is that the place is indeed beautiful and worth the visit!
Filia Dubai is located at the top of the 70th floor SLS Hotel and residence. Upon arriving inside the hotel, I get the Versace Feels of the decoration and interiors. Simple and elegant and well designed. From the lobby walking into the Elevator there are no Buttons to press but a Touchscreen with only 2 places to go through and of course I pressed the 71st floor. From the 71st floor you will be amazed how amazing that floor is! Super High ceiling and very elegant chairs, If i’m correct that you would be their Hotel Lobby.
From the 71st floor you have to walk on your left side, you’ll see another elevator but continue walking until you see the see-through elevator way at the end of your left side. From there you’ll go one floor down and that’s where Filia Dubai is. Filia Dubai Means Daughter and I think the chef’s there are all women If i’m not mistaken. We were greeted at the entrance and asked for our reservation. Booking is a must btw! So we were seated with a beautiful view! I can see the Dubai Canal, Burj Khalifa, JW Marriott Business bay side.

Then we ordered our food! Yay! For lunch, we availed their business lunch menu which is a 3-course meal for 99aed/person. You have to pay separately for the drinks. Please take note that the Business lunch is not available during weekends and public holidays. Below is all the food we ordered.
STARTERS:
-Insalata Di Indivia: This salad looks like baby chinese cabbage but it was not. It’s super crunchy and really bitter than the bitter gourd. haha It does taste good with the gorgonzola cheese and pecan.
-Feta al Forno: This was quite good. Oven baked Feta cheese with cherry tomatoes and sourdough toasted bread. While the feta cheese was good, it had shaved almonds and pine nuts, The sourdough toasted bread was a bit quite hard to bite. I would rather choose to have the normal sourdough than toasted.
MAINS:
-Margherita Pizza was good but not gonna say anything exciting to be honest.
-Seabass with grilled asparagus and couscous, This I must say was really good! I would recommend you to order. The seabass fish and grilled asparagus was delicious and cooked to perfection!
DESSERT:
-2x Ice Cream scoops: they have different flavours so then we ordered vanilla and chocolate. It was served with berries in it and almond/hazelnut crumble. The vanilla was more like pineapple flavour though haha But overall it was delicious.
-Filia Tiramisu was also good. The cake was sitting on espresso syrup which I like because I like coffee but probably too bitter if you’re not a coffee lover. It has a bit of gold foil on top which makes it look fancy. It was really good.
As you can see from my Youtube Video Vlog below, Filia Dubai interior is boho chic, elegant. Staff were all very friendly and I always tell you all that it matters to me when the staff in the restaurant makes me feel like home and not in a hurry to eat.
The outside open lounge is not open during business lunch, as the wind was deadly! You can watch my vlog below to see how windy it was when we were there. It is so impossible to do anything there haha But we did managed to take some photos but would also love to come back and have something to eat while waiting for the beautiful sunset living the life in Dubai haha
