Private Tour: Behind The Scenes of Malaysia Fashion Week 2014!

Introducing: FACIT @Intrude Malaysia 2014 % Malaysia Fashion Week 2014. Marking is debut as a national and international event. The Inaugural Malaysia Fashion Week (MFW) 2014 will bring together Malaysian and International Fashion distributors to Kuala Lumpur from 17 to 22 October 2014 with a trade exhibition called FACIT (Fashion, Art, Cosmetics, Interiors and Textile) This ground breaking event will be further supported by a series of fabulous fashion shows, featuring 65 designers from 15 countries and stylish Gala Events.

The 2014 INTRADE had 412 exhibitors from over 12 countries and 300 trade buyers from 17 to 22 October 2014 and will be hosted at Menara MATRADE KL. The event will also see the biggest Fashion Week Sale Open to the Public for only 8hours from 2pm-10pm on the final day which is October 22 2014, with a variety of high quality fashion and lifestyle products up for grabs.

MFW is a collaborative effort between national trade promotion agency MATRADE and the country’s leading fashion event organiser STYLO International, Supported by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry. This event will mark the first dedicated trade fashion event organised by a government agency MATRADE in partnership with the private sector and its multinational collaborators at an international level.

The Partnership with STYLO International also sees the injection of the Mercedes-Benz Stylo Asia Fashion Week (MBSAFW) into further boosting MFW. The MBSAFW is a joint collaborative effort of STYLO International and luxury automaker Mercedes-Benz. MBSAFW will see designers from 15 Asian countries showcase their work using the MFW as its asian platform and INTRADE as its trade collaborator. Mercedes-Benz will also be displaying the sleek lines of their brand new Mercedes-Benz c200 within the FACIT installation.

The main pillars of the inaugural MFW will include:

Malaysia Fashion Showcase (MFS) High-lighting the very top tier of leading and emerging malaysian designers and their collections such as Joe Chia, Bon Zainal, Melinda Loo and many more; as well as creative talents from accessories, hair and make up industries.
Mercedes-Benz STYLO Asian Fashion Week (MBSAFW) Ranked as the 30th fashion week in the world, this Asia for Asia fashion week will feature International designers from 15 countries from ASEAN and asian region.
FACIT (fashion, arts, cosmetics, interior, textiles) A lifestyle trade fair installation within INTRADE as an initiative to support and showcase fashion and related industries. The installation will include local and international designers, manufacturer’s and artist covering the following categories: 1) Fashion Apparel & Textiles 2) Fashion Accessories, Footwear, & Jewellery 3) Cosmetics, Toiletries, Health & Wellness 4) Gifts, Souvenirs, & Stationary 5) Home Products & Services 6) Interiors, Furnishings & Fittings

Malaysia Fashion Week will be held from October 17-22, 2014, While the INTRADE and FACIT @INTRADE will take place October 20-22; held at Menara MATRADE Jalan Khidmat Usaha, Off Jalan Duta 50480 KL, Malaysia.
