Atelier M Rooftop Lounge Dubai: Another night ladies! Guess I’m trying to keep up with all the ladies nights and happy hours that I’ve missed during the last few years I’ve spent since I moved here to Dubai. When I was in Malaysia and Singapore, I went out once a week! Can you believe that? Now I only go out to drink once or twice a month, which I am very happy to be honest. I guess my older days are here to catch up too! I just want to see beautiful views, nice drinks, good food, meet new people and chill with lovely people.
So my friend @_wheretofindme and I were planning to go to Atelier M Dubai for ladies night for a month I suppose, but we can’t really know the future, emergency things happen so we called it off and cancelled it. But the universe is with us! Hooray! We went to Atelier M Dubai. She decided we can do it and we did! Done and deal! Booked us a table at Atelier M Dubai Rooftop Lounge and we conquered.
We arrived just in time for our booking, happy to report that we are not the only one’s there that is early. Ladies night and happy hour starts at 6pm and the place already has people in it when we arrive around quarter to 7pm, everyone happy! Well, of course there is something that I am not happy about right? Haha =D well, I booked the rooftop lounge because I was hoping that I get to sip my white wine and eat my 3 course meal overlooking the beautiful view of Dubai Marina, checking out rich people’s Yacht and skyscraper buildings.
But to my dismay, all of those amazing things I’ve said above are blocked by the DJ’s booth where the hostess girl decided that we should sit right there, where I cannot see anything but the changing lights of the DJ’s booth and I am not happy but of course, I am always a happy human being so I had fun and gave me best to not spoil it and I did it! Please take note that we came early, so many empty seats where we could be sitting and yet they decided to not give us the best seat. That is some bullpoop and I am very disappointed, somehow I am thinking it is because of the race card. If you’ve been to Dubai, then congratulations! Ok, not gonna comment anymore LOLS.
Here’s a great thing though, Their offer during Ladies night is totally legit! I, myself, I’m even surprised. The servings of all the meals we ate looked normal and it looked like there was an effort given while preparing it and I do really appreciate it. Starter was Rock Shrimps with lime and a little bit of salad under it, served in an elegant copper looking martini glass. That was delicious! Next for our Main course, I was having a hard time If I would get their pizza or the penne. I ended up ordering salmon and boy it was good! The asparagus is perfectly cooked and crunchy! Never seen big asparagus like that, all they sell in grocery shops are thin babies and now I have lots of questions. Anyhow, the salmon with asparagus was very filling, I could barely finish it while sipping my white wine. But then we gotta move on, Who wants dessert? Raise your hand! You’re in for a treat, We ordered the roasted white chocolate parfait and it was beautiful and too sweet for me. I’ll still give it a 5/5 because they served it beautifully and I get to finish it! Hurray! We had 3 course meals, 3 drinks and a bonus 2 drinks since we booked earlier. I have 3 white wines and 1 vodka orange juice. Didn’t manage to order and drink my last one as we have to hurry up and catch the last train! Which, we failed to do so, even if we ran like horses wearing high heels haha we were thinking that the last train is 12midnight, but apparently the last train leaves 11:08pm at DMCC metro. So ended up careem. Not bad.
Overall, The place is beautiful! Rooftop lounge is amazing, and despite not getting the beautiful view while sipping my white wine, I’ll still recommend it! Food and place is very nice. The waiter who served us the whole night, Mooni or Muni is his name I think, was very friendly to us. The location is only walking distance to DMCC metro, right behind Dubai Marina Mall. I will definitely come back to try their first floor balcony and then go to the second floor and enjoy the club! Party is there if you would like to join.
