As a Wine lover myself, here I am and found myself a friend @_wheretofindme who loves the same thing. We’re kinda like twinnies now that you can’t be separated although we still have our own different lives and she got her own group of friends while I have… My own family to spend my time with when She and I are not together. OK, this sounds sad but definitely not. Just stating some facts haha.
Both of us were talking about Argentina Grill for so long. It is like 2 months in the making and here we are! We made it to Argentina Grill Dubai The Pointe as we also want to watch the Guinness World Record, The Largest fountain in the World show and Also attended the International Fashion Week Dubai 2020 at Sofitel The Palm hotel. Did we just check three on our list! Because that is how we roll haha Never felt so accomplished in my life haha doing so many in one day is just a different level of satisfaction for someone like me. Do you feel the same way? Like they say, Hitting 2 birds in 1 stone! We hit 3 in one stone and I’m proud hahaha
Moving on, we met at the metro station burjuman to damac metro and from there we walked to the Tram to Palm jumeirah. It was a long walk from the park… I mean parking lot haha From Palm Jumeirah Tram you have to walk up the overpass bridge into the parking lot buy your ticket for the monorail, ride the monorail and go down to Nakheel Mall stop and from them take an uber or careem or taxi. Free bus from Nakheel Mall to The Pointe starts at 5pm as we are an hour early and we are 5minutes late for our Argentina grill booking. We took a careem taxi and it was only a few minutes from there.
Upon our arrival to Argentina Grill, I was disappointed when the girl cannot find my name and my booking confirmation as I specifically booked the seats near the edge of the terrace that I specifically sent the exact photo from their instagram page so we can took nice photos and videos for our content and have a good view with the Guinness World Record, The Largest fountain in the World show but to my dismay it was full and reserved already and I’ve never been disappointed in my life. I’m dead serious. There’s a reason why We book for the table and specifically send a photo of where I want to sit. But what to do right? I can’t do anything of course. We ended up choosing a table inside instead.
FOOD: Before coming here, my friend and I already talked about what we’re going to order so we do not mess up and order too much for just the two of us. As you know I can’t really eat much when I’m drinking. I need a balanced little bit of drink and a little bit of food haha So we ordered Argentina Grande Platter, Steak Picanha, Mashed potatoes, One bottle of Shiraz that we both shared together. To be honest, The Argentina Grande Platter was more than enough for us with one bottle of wine. We love the little bits of deli meats garlic, veg and bread, we did try ordering more extra bread but somehow it didn’t come hehe.
When visiting Argentina Grill Dubai Restaurant, one must order a meat or steak, So we ordered a Steak Picanha with mashed potato on the side. You actually have to order the sides and sauces separately as it doesn’t come with the meat and of course it costs separately as well. The waitress suggested that we order the Steak Picanha and cook it medium rare. It was bloody. Literally bloody steak haha I ate mine like that while my friend asked the waitress to cook her portion medium well which she loved and enjoyed.
During this time we availed their offer of happy hour 50% off. This offer is until the end of November only. You can book either at Argentina Grill The Pointe The Palm or Lamer Beach. I hope they will extend their 50% off offer until December as I would love to bring my family here who loves steak as well. The place is definitely recommended for the amazing location and good food and wine and friendly staff. The outdoor seating is just relaxing while enjoying your meal and drinking your favorite wine during the winter weather in Dubai.
The Guinness World Record, The Largest fountain in the World show starts at 7pm. Then new different songs and light fountain shows every 30 minutes. So if you’re visiting, make sure that you have all the time to watch all the shows as I’ve only seen 2 of them before we left for our fashion show event.
