The tour is a creative and artistic instrument in promoting a key message that conservation is a big concern in the world. Tropical forests are an asset that requires careful governing and with 60% of Malaysia covered in greenery, this message should be amplified further within local community. The 1600 Pandas World Tour which started in 2008 as a collaboration between WWF and Paulo Grangeon, has since appeared in more than 100 exhibitions across various countries such as France, The Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Taiwan and Hongkong.
The 1600 Pandas Grand Finale will be at Publika from January 13-25 2015, Where the public can take the opportunity to check the pandas and have a closer proximity.
